The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recently opened a new funding opportunity to small businesses for innovative clean energy technologies as part of its Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) programs. SBIR and STTR are competitive funding opportunities that encourage U.S.-based small businesses to engage in research and development to accelerate the commercialization of innovative technologies.  As part of this funding opportunity, the Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Office (AMMTO) looks to support Phase I projects in six topic areas, including one joint topic with EERE’s Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO). https://science.osti.gov/-/media/grants/pdf/foas/2025/DE-FOA-0003504-0001-for-publication.pdf?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery
